Salzburger with fries

You’re probably tired of hearing how much we like the places we’ve been going but its true!  Actually, yesterday when we first got off our train we both thought Salzburg wasn’t going to match up to Paris and Prague.  We thought maybe it would be just a pit stop on our way to Italy.    But after spending a day in the city and beyond (which surprisingly most of the REALLY cool things can be done in just ONE day), we agree that Salzburg is like no place else.

Since we were only here for a day and a half, we tried to see as much as we could in one day.  First we went downtown through some arch dukes gardens (speaking of duke, they had just spread fresh dookie everywhere right before we got there. Just another great European smell to add to the growing list), then through Mozart’s house and saw his original music he wrote and his piano.  That was pretty cool!
Mozart has always been Jared’s favorite composer so I got him some ice cream after we were done.  Next thing you know, we’re in the Austrian alps!
We took a gondola up there.  I was freaked out cuz I don’t trust those janky contraptions.  But we got to the summit and the views were so amazing you can’t imagine! We hiked around in the snow and had a beer.  After that we went to see that big castle here called Hohensalzburg Fortress.  It dates back to 1077!  Yeah woe.  Everything you see is worthy of a picture, it’s really overwhelming.  The pictures will give you an idea of the awesomeness!
